Being in the Flow
“Have you ever watched a river and noticed how it feels? Does it feel peaceful, flowing, healing?
You all have the ability to be like that river. Imagine, what would it feel like?
It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day challenges of everyday life; the busyness, the responsibilities, the ups and downs that you all face. At times, life can feel overwhelming and unmanageable.
It is important to focus inward, not outward. Always come back to yourself, no matter what is happening in your life. For you cannot change what is outside you, only what is inside.
Think of a recent time that you were triggered by something. Maybe it was a situation at work, or with friends or family. Instead of trying to solve the problem by changing the situation or the other person, look inside yourself. What are you feeling? Are you feeling angry, afraid, distraught?
Every feeling is energy in your body. Notice where this feeling is. Is it in your head, your stomach, your back? Do you have physical pain anywhere?
You don’t have to know what it is or where it is in your body. Just be willing to let go of it. It is an old energy from the past that isn’t serving you anymore. Accept it, thank it, and allow it to leave. Then see if you feel lighter, calmer, and more peaceful.
This need only take a few minutes. As you let go of these old energies, new energies of love and light will come into your body. You may get new insights, intuition, or ideas on how to handle the situation.
Be patient with yourselves, dear ones. This is a process. Every small step you take can have a significant change in your perspective.
And always remember to breathe”
